Service Description
Please note that this is the BRING YOUR OWN BOARD OPTION. You must arrive with your own equipment and will not be using Allstoke's equipment. You must ensure that you arrive with enough time to set up your equipment. Lessons start promptly at 6:00pm. Instructor will not be available to help you set up your own equipment. Looking for a relaxing evening on the water? Join us as we paddle the La Salle River. Open to all skill levels. We start with an introduction to paddling, going over the safety gear, safety on the water, paddle technique, and how to handle your board. Once on the water, we make sure everyone is at ease... which isn't hard as you will be surrounded with beautiful scenery. You must ensure that you have all required safety equipment, including PFD (must be worn) and leash. If you do not have the required safety equipment, you will fore-fit your spot and will not be able to join the group. You must ensure that you arrive with enough time to set up your equipment. Lessons start promptly at 6:00pm. Instructor will not be available to help you set up your own equipment. What to wear: This is an evening paddle, which means it can sometimes get a bit chilly. So make sure to be dressed for the weather! Try to avoid wearing cotton as it doesn't dry quickly. We recommend quick-dry athletic gear and dressing in layers. What to bring: Water bottle, bug spray, towel, change of clothes. Time: Meet at 6:00pm. On the water from 6:30 - 7:30pm. *meet earlier to set up your equipment. Especially if you inflate your board.
