Be Kind To Your Gear

If you've purchased an inflatable paddle board, that's awesome! But let's make sure we take care of that board. Here are some easy tips that we do with our boards and gear to make them last.

-Keep your board out of the sun when you're not using it. Keep it upside down in the shade. If no shade is available, water does the trick, too! This stops the board from overheating and to stop the air pressure rising. In fact, try to keep all your paddle gear out of the sun when not in use.

-Hose it all down and wipe all that dirt off. Let's help keep the mold and mildew away!

-Do not drag your board around. Use those handles to keep the board off the ground when you are moving it around.

-When the fun is over, dry off your board, deflate it, and store the board in a dry, dark place. If your paddle comes apart, take it apart and drain out all the water before you store it away.

-Help keep your board in great shape by using 303-protectant spray. This helps to keep the material clean and durable. Also helps to strengthen the board from UV rays, which can discolours over the years.

-Cleaning your gear is the perfect time to make sure there are no cuts or anything damaged. If you notice any damage, try to fix it as soon as possible. If you're not able to fix it, consider replacing it if needed.
