Intro to Paddle Boarding

At the intro to stand up paddle boarding class, our goal is to get you comfortable on a board. This class is great for first timers or those looking to learn and practice their technique.

We keep things light and simple - your job is to have a good time and ours is to keep you safe. This is why we always start our lessons by going over the fundamentals. This means learning how to be safe on the water, paddle technique, and how to handle your board. We also cover mounting your board, kneeling, basic turns, standing, forward stroke and more!

NEW THIS YEAR: BRING YOUR OWN BOARD OPTION

If you have your own board but would still like a lesson, we are now offering this option! Please ensure you have all required safety equipment, including PFD (must be worn) and leash. If you do not have the required safety equipment, you will fore-fit your spot and will not be able to join the group.

You must ensure that you arrive with enough time to set up your equipment. Lessons start promptly at 6:00pm. Instructor will not be available to help you set up your own equipment.
