You've got questions and we've got answers!

Is there a waiver that I need to sign?

For our paddle lessons/tours/clinics, all participants/guardians must sign our Paddle Canada waiver that can be found online here:

Paddle Canada Waiver

I've never paddle boarded before so I'm a bit nervous

Being nervous is okay! We are professionals and will do our best to make you feel comfortable. We go over all the basics before you get on the water. If you have any questions, we are here to help!

Do I need to stand up?

Nope! Paddle boarding can be kneeling or sitting. You can stand up when you're ready.

What are the age restrictions?

We want to include everybody! However, for our group lessons that are held on Wednesday nights, you must be at least 16 years old to participate. If you have children under 16 years old, either book a family event or reach out to us. We'd be happy to accommodate your family

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you can move in. You can wear shorts, capris pants, t-shirt, or long sleeve. Most paddling we offer is in the evening, where it can get a bit chilly. And always bring a change of clothes... just in case! You are also welcome to wear a non-medical mask during the session.

What should I bring?

Please consider bringing your own water, bug spray, and if possible hand sanitizer.

Where do I put my keys or other belongings during class?

Both instructors will have a dry bag with their own keys in them. You are welcome to leave belongings in their car or in their dry bags. We recommend that any other personal belonging be left in your car (cell phone!) unless you have a water proof case or your own dry bag.

Will there be photos?

We take our gopro out on the water to capture all the fun you'll be having! If you wish to not have your photo taken, no worries! Just let us know.

Where is the boat launch in La Salle?

Upon registration for a class in La Salle, you will be sent directions in the confirmation email.

What if it is raining?

A little rain never hurt anyone! But of course, we realize the danger of paddling in a thunderstorm. We are constantly watching the conditions. If we need to cancel, we will let you know by 3:00pm that day by the email that you supplied us with upon reservation. A full refund will be provided.

What is your cancelation/refund policy?

We are so stoked that you have decided to paddle with us! We also understand that life happens and things change. We are happy to change your lesson time or provide you with a full refund anytime up until 48 hours before your lesson time. Anything cancelled or changed after this time frame, unfortunately, will not be refunded.

What payment system does your website use?

We use Stripe for our booking needs. We found it safe and easy for you.
